2. Cookie Categories
2.1 Necessary Cookies
Necessary cookies and similar technologies are required for website operation, security, and core functions. They include storing and documenting your cookie choices, consistently providing the selected language version, and security and protection functions. They are not used for advertising or profiling. 2.2 Functional Cookies
Functional cookies support optional convenience and display functions. They are used only if you expressly consent through the cookie banner. Details about the technologies currently used are available in the cookie list in the consent banner.
2.3 Analytics Cookies
Analytics cookies help us statistically evaluate the use of our website. They are not used for profiling or advertising purposes and are used only if you expressly consent through the cookie banner.
Website reach is measured using Koko Analytics and starts only after you consent to the “Analytics” category. In our current configuration, Koko Analytics uses an analytics cookie with a storage period of up to 24 hours. Statistical data is stored locally within our WordPress installation. 2.4 Protection Against Spam and Bots
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our contact form against spam and automated submissions. Turnstile is used exclusively for security and misuse prevention and is not used for advertising, marketing, or profiling.
For the security check, Turnstile processes technical signals, including IP address, browser and connection information, and information about the sitekey used and the requesting website. Where Turnstile stores information on your device or accesses information from it for this security function and this is technically necessary, the function is assigned to the “Necessary” category in our current configuration. 2.5 Advertising Cookies
Advertising cookies and similar technologies are used only if you expressly consent to the “Advertisement” category in the cookie banner. Only after this consent do we determine server-side the country for the regional selection of available affiliate offers and for the aggregated country statistics described in our Privacy Policy.
The country statistics record page views as aggregated counts by country for the internal management and quality control of our regional affiliate function and to assess for which additional countries regional affiliate offers may be relevant in the future. Page views from countries for which affiliate offers are available are included. Page views from other countries for which no regional affiliate offers are currently available are also included, provided that consent to the “Advertisement” category has been given for the respective page view.
We use the server-provided two-letter country code for country assignment. Only the aggregated counts by country are stored in the country statistics themselves. Not stored in the country statistics are IP addresses, individual identifiers, consent IDs, URLs, referrers, individual page views, timestamps, or personal browsing histories. The country statistics do not place additional cookies or comparable identifiers. The aggregated values are reset when the month changes. Further information is provided in Section 7.3 of our Privacy Policy.
Without this consent, we do not determine a country for these purposes, compile aggregated country statistics, select regionally appropriate affiliate offers, or load external Awin or advertising partner content, product images, advertising materials, affiliate links, or related tracking technologies.
2.6 Affiliate Offers
After you consent to the “Advertisement” category, regional product recommendations, advertising materials, and affiliate links from participating advertising partners may be displayed through the Awin affiliate network (AWIN AG). Awin and the advertising partners involved may use cookies and similar technologies to attribute advertising materials, clicks, and, where applicable, transactions to an affiliate referral and to calculate commissions.
Specific information about affiliate technologies used on our website is available in the consent and cookie banner. When you click an affiliate link and access the website of the relevant advertising partner, that partner’s own privacy notices and cookie information apply to the further use of cookies and similar technologies on its website.
Depending on the affiliate program and available reporting functions, we may receive pseudonymous performance, click, transaction, product, and commission data from Awin. We do not use this data to identify individual purchasers. Further information about processing in connection with our affiliate programs is provided in our Privacy Policy.
3. Changing Your Cookie Settings
You may change or withdraw your choices at any time with future effect through the cookie settings on our website. CookieYes takes Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals into account as part of its consent management. We do not operate an additional, independent DNT mechanism.
