My grandfather was from the Black Forest in southern Germany, the home of the famous Black Forest cake, and he ran his own bakery and confectionery there. Although it no longer exists today, the passion for cakes and fine pastries has remained very much alive in our family.

Cake Mood Beyond stands for what still inspires me today: the love for timeless recipes, the special atmosphere, the feeling of joy, pleasure and inspiration.

I am fascinated by these classic creations, their origin, their character and the unique art of bringing them back to life with care and quality. With this website, I want to preserve this baking culture, explain it in an understandable way and share it with you.

Baking, for me, means keeping memories alive and creating moments of joy.
